Valuation & Sales Advice House Clearance
We offer a friendly and usually free advice service for house clearance, downsizing, moving house. I can advise on the best place to sell or recycle items, be it auction, ebay, charity shop, boot sale, or another specialist dealer like Megarrys. I can also advise on how to go about organising a house clearance - whether to recycle, restore, sell or store your items. |

Valuations
The first advice is dont throw it out or give it away until you check its value. Either bring the items to me at the shop, or send me a photo, hard copy or email. If I don't know the value I almost certainly know someone who will. I will also look at things in your home if there is too much to transport, but will have to charge a small call out fee based on mileage and time. |
Sale on Commission
Megarrys sell on commision for the general public. If you bring an item you want to sell, I will discuss it with you, agree a sensible selling price, agree a commission rate, based on it's value, size, and condition.
Please dont repolish or clean items until I've looked at them. For example pewter should not be polished, and a lovely mellow but distressed piece of furniture can be totally de valued by a coat of varnish - let Megarrys give you the best advice.
Finally I will agree a time limit - I cant keep things indefinately, or the shop will become too full. You will be given a detailed receipt for your items which we both sign, and hopefully they will sell.
